Foodhi Classics: Sha Cha Noodles
A signature dish at Foodhisattva, our Sha Cha features Taiwanese noodles stir-fried in our umami-rich and complex Sha Cha sauce. Our sauce begins with pulverized shiitake mushrooms and finely chopped ginger, creating a deeply flavorful base. We then toast a rich blend of spices, coconut, peanuts, and sesame seeds, building deep, nutty complexity.
Each bowl is topped with fresh bean sprouts, green onions, stir-fried garlic baby bok choy, and king oyster mushrooms, adding additional layers of texture and aroma.
Beyond its bold, aromatic flavor, we love what this dish represents. Since we started Foodhisattva, our goal has always been to bring new dishes to Cleveland. Sometimes that means reinventing classics (Bangkok Tacos, Korean Reuben, etc.), but we also enjoy introducing traditional dishes we love but rarely see in town.
Sha Cha Noodles is a bold dish—an umami bomb bursting with flavor. It’s for the adventurous eater, which is why it’s right at home with our regulars, who have some of the best palates around.
